The art of keeping the leather jacket on point
When we think of leather jackets, what may come to mind are old school German Pilots, Harley Davidson, Marlon Brando and The Sex Pistols.
Yes since post WWI the leather jacket has been adopted by film makers, actors, singers and has always represented and portrayed an iconic lifestyle.<
Why do we love this classic garment? Well, apart from the fact that leather jackets are the epitome of coolness, they are also long lasting.
This however doesn’t mean they respond well to rain or detergent.
So as our next shooting theme will be solely around the vintage total Denim look, I thought I would tell you guys about the awesome fabric DENIM and give you a little advice on how to take care of your Denim baby.
We know that Japanese have Kimonos, Austrians have Dirndl and thanks to the Americans we have THE pair of jeans.
Yes, as you might have known our beloved Denim fashion came from Levi Strauss in partnership with Jacob Davis in 1871.
Is it just me, or have you noticed a sudden ‘Boom’ in the Pink-hair-don’t-care fashion trend?
I mean, the beauty of living in London is that everyone dresses how they wish, and literally no one gives a damn about it. That is just normal out here: from the punks, to the hipsters, to the 90s cool kids and the vintage loving kids etc. And that of course comes with the different hairstyles.
I never really paid attention to people hairstyles, but recently I have noticed an increase in girls with pink hair and to be fair, it looks awesome. Who would’ve thought that such an unnatural hair colour could look so good ?!
There is just something about that pastel, candy pink that screams youth and freedom.
London – a huge metropolis pumping with different styles, and probably one of the Vintage capitals. Yes, London thrives with Vintage shops, from furniture to clothing. However, when it comes to a rainbow of styles and vintage shops, Tokyo comes a close second. It is one of the most influential fashion capitals, where people are known for their innovative street style and eccentric outfits. Just think of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Girls and their really peculiar but somehow awesome outfits, and hair. Lets not forget the really colorful hairstyles that have come to influence the west (check previous article on how to successfully dye your hair pink).
From Banksy, to Fairey, to Keith Haring - Street art has experienced a great shift in the past years. What was once a considered clandestine is now a distinguished form of public art, emerging in major cities across the world
